Groupe Marie Claire is a family business specializing in the creation and retail sale of affordable women's ready-to-wear. The company has more than 300 boutiques – both in urban centres and in the regions – in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick. They are divided into six banners: Marie Claire, Grenier, Claire France, San Francisco, Dans un Jardin and Émotions . In total, 1,800 people work for the company, including 120 at its head office in the Anjou sector of Montreal. This is where the design of the collections is done, while the manufacturing is mainly entrusted to factories in Asia and Europe. However, approximately 10% of production remains in Quebec.
